American Legion Post 407 and North East Christian Academy has teamed up as partners for this year. On Sept 11, 2025 Mr. Denise O’Leary and Martin Lawrence went to the school (which is hosted by SunValley Baptist Temple) Fadi Carlos (Principle and pastor of the church) hosted a school wide Flag presentation. Martin Lawrence presented on folding the flag, and what the flag represents. Each student and adult received a small flag thanks to the Post.
On Sept 11 we met with Mr. Ashton Vasquez and Tiffany Meehan about so of what the school might be in need of. The PE department is looking for Volly balls. Basket balls, ball totes, and school supplies.
Items that are in need of are listed below

- Portable Totes for both Coaches
- Volunteers for sports events
- Volunteers for Color Guard
- Help starting ROTC for their High school students
- Volunteers for different events (Veterans Day, NECA Harvest Festival, Oratorical contest.
- raising money to send students to boys and Girls State or nation

Sept 24 deliver flag belts so the school and church can start a color Guard. Pastor and Principal Carlos along with the PE staff stated on Sept 21 that they have 5 students who want to be members of the Guard.
Northeast Christian academy is holding a Harvest Festival and Craft Fair on November 1 from 12 to 4 come and have fun or rent a booth. See attached flyer.
On October 5 at 11 AM after our morning Service the church is holding a Breaking Bread BBQ. Come join us and enjoy a free BBQ. See Attached Flyer for more information.
